Central Government has Recently started Pradhanmantri Scholarship Yojana for the bright students of the country. The basic objective of PM Scholarship Scheme 2023 is to encourage higher professional and technical education for dependent children and widows of Central Armed Police Forces, Assam Rifles and State Police personnel. About Pm Scholarship Yojana 2023:

Pradhanmantri Scholarship Yojana was started on August 15, 2005 only, but in the year 2023, this scheme was updated. Children of all those policemen, ex-servicemen, defense personnel who have been martyred in the line of duty or have become disabled can take advantage of this scheme. Apart from this, all those students whose father or husband was in the service of the country and have received the award for gallantry can also take advantage of this scheme.Under this scheme, the Government of India recently announced a scholarship amount of Rs.2250 to Rs.3000 per month for girls and Rs.2000 to Rs.2500 per month for boys.

Eligible candidates

•The applicant must be a permanent resident of India.

•The age of the applicant should be 18 to 25 years.

•The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than six lakhs.

•Only economically weak students can take advantage of the scheme.

•Applicant must have secured at least 60% marks in class 12th.

Documents required:

•Passport size photo.

•Aadhar card

•Bank account passbook

•Ex-Servicemen and Coast Guard Certificate as per Annexure-1

•High School Marksheet and Certificate.

How To Apply Pm Scholarship Yojana online:

You need to apply online to take the benefits of PM Scholarship Scheme 2023. There isn’t offline process to apply for this scheme. Here is the step by step process to apply for the Pm Scholarship Yojana.

Step 1: First of all the applicant has to visit the official website of Kendriya Sainik Board. The name of this website is https://ksb.gov.in/.

Step 2: Only after opening the website, you will get to see the option of Register on the homepage. Here Register yourself by entering your proper details.

Step 3: After that you have to click on the submit button and then you have to upload all the documents.

Step 4: After uploading the documents, you will be able to get your registration number. (User name and password which is created at the time of registration can be used for the second year also)

How to check Application Status?

Step 1: First of all go to the home page of the official website of Kendriya Sainik Board.

Step 2: On the homepage, you have to click on the option of “Status Application”.

Step 3: After clicking that a new form will open in which you can check your application status by entering postal ID and verification code.

Important notice of pm Scholarship Scheme-

Under this scheme, a total of 5500 scholarships will be provided every year. The benefit of this scheme is only for one course. In this scheme, if the student takes admission in two courses and one degree is professional and the other degree is non-professional, then that student will be given a scholarship for professional degree. If there is any mistake in the application form, then it has to be corrected within 10 days, otherwise the application form will be canceled.
