About Indira Gandhi Rojgar 2023:
Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme was started by the Rajasthan government in the year 2022. Earlier this scheme was being implemented in rural areas but now this scheme will be implemented in urban areas also. Rajasthan Government Section A budget of 800 crores has been made for this scheme. The main objective of this scheme is to provide guaranteed employment to the citizens. As employment, they will be given the work of environmental protection, water conservation, heritage protection, maintenance of gardens, removal of encroachments and illegal board banners etc.
MNREGA period will be extended in Rajasthan:
MNREGA was accepted in the Parliament in the year 2006. This scheme is implemented in every district of the country. During the budget announcement, Rajasthan government has also announced to increase 100 days of employment to 125 days of MNREGA scheme (rural). The expenditure of 25 days of employment will be borne by the state government. Till now job cards have been issued by registering more than 3 lakh people from more than 2 lakh families under this scheme.

Step 1: First of all you have to go to the official website of the scheme, the name of this website is https://irgyurban.rajasthan.gov.in/
Step 2: After opening the website, you will get to see the option of “Application for work” on the homepage, you need to simply click on it.
Step 3: After that a new page will open in front of you, where you will have to enter Jan Aadhaar Enrollment ID. (If you do not have Jan Aadhaar, you can make your Jan Aadhaar through the nearest E-Mitra center or by clicking here directly.
Step 4: After that you will get further application form, in this form you will have to provide your proper information.

Indira Gandhi Saheri Rojgar Yojana Update:
With the proposal of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme has been implemented in all the municipal bodies. Initially, 100 days of employment was announced under this scheme. But now from April 1, 2023, total 125 days of employment will be provided under this scheme. There will be a financial burden of Rs 1100 crore on increasing the employment opportunities for 25 more days in the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme, which was Rs 800 crore earlier.
