About PMSBY:
Through this PMSBY scheme, an insurance amount of ₹ 100000 to ₹ 200000 is provided in case of an accident. If the life assured dies, in this case the sum assured is given to the nominee. To get the benefit of this scheme, it is mandatory to have the facility of auto debit activated on the bank account. For this the applicant has to sign a consent letter for auto debit of the policy premium.
Here you have to pay only 12 rupees premium annually. Every year the premium amount is deducted from the bank account before 1st June. Under this scheme, the rate of premium has been increased by the government by ₹ 1.25 per day. Now the beneficiaries of this scheme will have to pay a premium of ₹ 20 instead of a premium of ₹ 12.
